The title says it all really! I'm 36 and have lost 7 stone but over the last year I haven't lost anything - have pitched between 17 and 16 stone and it's really upsetting me. I'm an educated person who knows how losing weight works but my body and mind do not seem to want to work together. I want to be healthier for my little girls and I just keep putting weight on and losing a little bit. Need weight loss buddies!

Morning Kez3

Welcome to the weight loss forum. You have done fantastic to lose 7 stone, well done you.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Have a good first week.

Good luck with your weight loss journey and hope you do well with it. People on here are very friendly and help keep you motivated. I love it. If you have any questions about anything even if it's not about weight loss don't be afraid to ask, there is likely to always be someone that will be able to answer to you. Make sure you do check your bmi calculator and are eating enough calories. I never used to eat enough and was always struggling at one point, then I found out I wasn't eating enough calories so my brain was telling my body I was starving it and was turning what I ate into body fat so I wasn't losing anything as this weighs more than calories. Now I eat enough calories and am finally losing weight.

Wow, well done for losing so much weight & being honest with yourself that you need to lose more.. I would imagine after such an incredible weight loss you slowed down as it's hard to keep up such focus but now ready to start phase 2! You can do it , cut out all the extra naughty foods , get back to basics , making the right choices, small portions , exercise you've done it before you can do it again !! Good luck 👍
