Miscarriages, so horrible, had 2 myself, very early on, years ago tho, I'm hoping yours wasn't too late?

Good luck on your weight loss, for you and your future, the best start ( as long as it's healthy losses)

Hi Diana, thank you. It was a missed miscarriage, I discovered at my 12 week scan that my baby's heart stopped beating at 8 weeks. It's such a horrible experience. I am trying to do a healthy loss as we are doing IVF (this last pregnancy was IVF) so I need to eat to also improve my egg health.

My sons are 25 and 27, and am going through menopause, 8 years in.

I hope things continue to get better for you, and you fall pregnant when you wish, after everything.

Thank you for thinking of me tho

Hello Hephziba

Sorry to hear of your loss, it is a horrible thing to go through 😕 I am hoping you have had a midwife check you over to make sure everything is as it should be health wise.

With regards to weight loss, many people follow the NHS 12 week plan, and the eating habits you commence will stand you in good stead for IVF and pregnancy. This is a very friendly forum with lots of advice and support. Good luck and very best wishes. 😊

Thanks a lot Anna61, everyone has indeed been very friendly and I am glad to be a part of the forum. I just looked through the plan and I think I can handle it (crossing my fingers that I dont lose my way), but I am sure I will get a lot of encouragement. Looking forward to starting this week (I need to swap the foodstuff in my home).

I am starting my weight loss journey.  I have had 3 miscarriages and I lose weight when going through it then I start putting weight on again.  I lost 18 lbs last year and have put 12lb back on.  It's really hard.
