Slimming world, it's not a fad diet, it's simple healthy eating good quality food. That involves the whole family in making good life style choices. Brilliant consultants always there outside of class to answer and support you.

As a company I originally tried to start online when I said I couldn't weigh myself they sent me the whole amount in voucher to Join a local group. I love the food don't think im on a diet and never starving.

Hope this information helps

I've lost about half a person by now.

I'm not on a specific diet but count my calories. Depending on how much exercise I do I eat between 1200 and 1800 calories a day and walk 4 to 10 miles.

I've lost about 30kg since November...

Good luck!

Im with foodie. I am not on a diet Im on a lifestyle change. I eat what I want but stay within the 1200 to 1800 calories. When I say I eat what I want, mainly its a LCHF diet but watching the fat content as well as the carbohydrates. I do eat out occassionaly but treat that as a treat day and stay within the 1800 calories for that day and drop the calories/increase the exercise the next few days to make up for the treats.

Hey i found watching my intake and cutting junk to a minimum (moderation seems to be key) and increased activity works for me. Its about finding what fits into your lifestyle and works for you :-)

The NHS 'plan' is a good place to start.

I feel it also pays to have a good think about yourself and what your personal issues are around food and eating and activity - why you ended up overweight.

Yes thank you for your reply, i find self thinking to be a great thing.. i usually look in the mirror when doing so, stand there having a long talk with myself telling myself what i need to do and how to get around it

I was thinking of something rather different to that...millions go straight to telling themselves what they need to do and millions stay overweight.

I know what you mean i've done it myself, dieted lost 3 stone then over 16months put on 4stone, so this time, its a thought out process ive put in place for myself, and one of my main fears if this does not work is just becoming another statistic (which i DON'T want
