Bit disheartened...

I've just finished week 2, and didn't lose anything at all this week - but I did lose 5lbs last week... I know it's the norm for week 2, but I've been doing the c25k programme (Just started week 2), and haven't cheated in my diet at all, so I really am disappointed.

Does it usually pick up again week 3? I'll keep going, but really, nothing at all??

x

There isn't really an absolute norm when it comes to weight loss as it varies across people and across time for the individual. You are probably experiencing other changes even if your weight hasn't gone down - feeling more energetic, losing inches etc. If you haven't measured your waist do it now and watch the change in that over the weeks as well as your weight.

It is normal to plateau every so often - just keep going, get through it and you will reap the benefits. Check that you're eating the right foods and the right amount - not too much and definitely not too little cos that can make you stop losing weight.

I plateaued one week and lost 4 lbs the next! You may even find that by tomorrow/ Wed the scales will have shifted...

Don't give up - it will pay off :-)

Hi mum of 3, I was the same - lost 2kgs the first week and then nothing the second - that felt so depressing!! However, stick with it and the scales should start moving down again. I have been through a few weeks where the scales won't move and then suddenly there's a drop! I'm on week 13 now...

Keep going on your journey not losing anything this week doesn't mean you won't next week and losing 5 lbs in your first week is excellent. Keep going and you will see the scale will go down honest
