My daughter told me about this app. Has loads (if not all) calorie counted foods - you can change servings to suit.

I use MyFitnessPal - a free app - which is brilliant and has a bar code reader for packaged foods too. The secret with all of these apps is to actually log everything that passes your lips!

It is a life saver, I have used it since last April , it helped me lose 2 stone and I've just this week reached my goal weight and a BMI of 23. Myfitnesspal hascalso given me a few new friends who shared my journey. Now Im at goal I will carry on using myfitnesspal, by setting my calorie limit higher ( in my case 1600) to see what I need to maintain and not gain. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to lose weight, improve fitness. 😊

That's my aim BMI of 23! Am at 74.8Kg at the moment and need to be 73! That pesky 1.8k just won't shift! Still I'm now a healthy weight - just need a bit of patience!

The final 5 lbs took me about 10 weeks, very slow. Still not entirely happy with my shape, but thats another matter, and Im possibly older than you at 62, so wearing a bikinis is no longer my aim anyway. Good luck with your final pounds.

Ok! 10 weeks and counting! Someone said yesterday how slim I was looking! Pleased with that but still have flabby bits that need work! I'm 66 btw - not yet given up on bikini target - but will reassess in the summer!

Yes its lovely when people notice. Although I had nice compliments from my slim friends, but criticism from a 'fatter' friend who thinks Im 'obsessive' ( all because I ordered a Gin&Slimline not wine ) Sour grapes ha ha !

Good luck with your progress. Helen Mirren wears bikinis so go for it , why not. 😊

I'm 62 lol . Lost 3 1/2 stone with my fitness app .just 7 lbs to go yep taking its time but doing lots of walking . I feel brand new I'm loving shopping for new clothes . My only moan is I need to have all my rings altered , they just fall off my fingers . A trip to the jewellery quater is called for and maybe a new sparkler as a reward . But not yet need to lose 7 lbs first . hope everyone else is successful. Like someone else said the trick is to log everything that goes into ur mouth . Have a good day all

Snap, my daughter told me about this app too. Very useful when I'm shopping. It takes out all the confusion that manufactures put in with the different way they measure their ingredients.
