At long last, my BMI has been below 25 for 6 days. Still want to continue with the 5:2 until I get mid band for normal weight. Not celebrating yet!

Well done!
That's excellent. And don't forget, when you get to the weight you want to be you just fast one day a week to maintain your weight loss - unlike any other 'diet' where you pile it straight back on again. I went from a BMI of 26 to a smidge under 20.
