Woooooo Hooooooooooo wk1 just finished and I have lost 6lb and 2 1/2 inches. I have done lots of exercise this first week and 4 hours was on my allotment. so I guess I have firmed up a bit rather than actually lost it. But hey I feel tonnes better about myself. we can do it. x

Thats brilliant, especially as exercise was useful in other ways. Most of mine at the moment is gardening but still do some aerobic stuff as well. Don't expect to keep losing that every week or you will be disappointed but stick to it and you will get there eventually.

You lost 6llb in one week! Wow! Do be carefully though, I think it's recommended that you lose 2-3llbs a week, too much more and you're not changing a habit and will be more likely to put it back on.

Good luck and keep up the exercise!

Hi, I certainly hope I don't lose this much every week. :-) I am actually eating more than before but just making sure that it's not fatty food or food with huge amounts of calories in it. I used to eat chicken honey and mustard pasts fron Tsc every day for my lunch thinking it was healthy. It turns out that there are tonnes of calories in it! :-) I make all my own lunches now, and if I can't for some reason I buy a ready meal that is low fat low calorie but lots of veggies in it to fill me up. I am now on week 7 and have lost 10 lb altogether, 5" off my waist and my bmi has dropped to 31.92 :-) yay
