It’s nearly Vasculitis Awareness month!

Our Theme is to help people VISUALISE VASCULITIS. And as a charity, we would like to share personal stories to help people understand the reality of living with vasculitis.

International Vasculitis Awareness month is May, with Vasculitis Awareness Day on Wednesday, May 15th 2024.

To Visualise Vasculitis we will do two things:

1. Share a story a day in May that shows the reality of living with Vasculitis every day.

2. Encourage events on Friday 31 May to fundraise.

1. During May Vasculitis UK will share a story a day, so if you want to share your story please complete the following form: forms.gle/MS9kdbJa5GyAFeRW7

The forms will come to me, and I will create a post for the website and social media, you will be able to approve it before it goes live. If you can include a photo, that’s perfect. But you can post a story anonymously.

I would like to try and get a mix of people so we can represent the community, so different types of vasculitis would be great and a mix of ages.

2. We also encourage you to hold an event on the 31st May to celebrate the month of awareness. The event could be a bake sale, a craft event, a bike ride or even a boozy brunch! Whatever gets people talking and sharing information about this rare group of diseases.
