So I've been suffering from tinnitus since 2022 and from pulsatile tinnitus since 2023. I've been to ENT and had an MRI scan with and without contrast.
My results with contrast show that I have a small transverse sinus diverticulum. Which from looking online is a rare vascular disorder.
I have an appointment with a doctor the end of March where I'm guessing I will find out more.
With it being rare there is not much out there online. (although this is probably not the best place to look for information anyway!)
I am wondering if anyone else has come across this before?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Shantelle00 my friend had this issue and they said they can stent her and that would take care of the pulsatile tinnitus. Hopefully they can do this with you.
I've had pulsatile tinnitus for a couple of years and have done a ton of reading about it. It's time consuming and confusing, but you are lucky you have a diagnosis!
Have a look at these websites:
Website from Northwestern Medicine (in the U.S.) was very helpful. Neuroangio.com explained a lot too. There are quite a few sites out there. Hopefully you have a doctor who can refer you to the right specialist/ surgeon.
