Does anyone else have discomfort when going over bumps in car

Hi all, I usually wear a hearing aid in one ear and have done for several months now. This is for T, mild hearing loss and balance problems. Before getting the hearing aid for many years there would be discomfort, mild pain and a feeling of something moving, bouncing in my ear that would last for only a few seconds every time I went over a road hump or a hole in the road. And we all know how many of these there are!

I forgot to put in the HA the other day and noticed this discomfort was again happening. It doesn't happen with HA in. Having been diagnosed with a vestibular hypofunction several years ago, I was wondering if anyone has anything similar, also have doctors missed something?

Would appreciate any one's thoughts or comments please.

no-one has replied to you Penelope so I expect that, among the small community here compared to the millions and millions of people worldwide who have tinnitus, it isn’t particularly common. If you need reassurance, give Tinnitus UK a ring.
