Endolymphatic hydrops

My ENT specialist has diagnosed me with this condition after I kept getting a full ear and low frequency tinnitus on and off every couple of weeks lasting a few days. Sometimes it can be very loud and distracting. I was wondering if anyone suffers from this and had any suggestions on how to stop it happening. Apparently lots of water and low salt and caffeine may help but so far I’ve cut these out and the symptoms persist. I feel very relieved when it clears up but then wake up in fear every day that’ll it will be back! Any thoughts would be appreciated

Hi..

That actually sounds quite like what I have had.

Though it's been steady since start of September.

If I move my ear slightly it stops...?

I haven't got as far as being able to discuss various conditions with an ENT as I had to go private, though am referred to ENT on NHS.

Hope you get some more info/help. 😊
