Yes, you receive the quarterly magazine automatically in the post, and yes, it's absolutely worth becoming a member. It's £15 per year, which is not much more than £1 per month. It staggers me that people think twice about BTA membership, given the negligible cost involved.

You get the magazine, there are member discounts on items available through the BTA shop and you'd be making a contribution to the running costs of the charity.

No, if you signed up for membership now you wouldn't get the magazines from earlier in the year. They'd send you a copy of the current one and then any subsequent editions issued. I think it's quarterly - ie 4 times a year, rather than 3 - but don't quote me on that.

Hello there

As one of my other roles is as the editor of "Quiet" I was going to say it is worth it, but Ruud1boy said it for me - which means a lot, as he says things as he finds them!

The magazine comes out 4 times a year as part of your membership. If you - or any of our forum members - would like to receive a copy to "try before you buy" then please send me a message via the chat button with your address and I'll get a copy out to you.

Best wishes
