International cat day

Apparently, today is International Cat Day. Now, I don't have a cat (or any pets at the moment, sadly) but our garden does seem to have been claimed by a neighbour's moggy. She liked to nest in the long grass of our wildlife area, and is most disgruntled that we've cut it!

I think she liked to act out fantasies of being a lion stalking on the plains of the Serengeti...

Do you have a cat? Why not add a photo and share a story about him/her/them!

Warmest wishes

Hi Nic,

We don`t have any pets either but we do have several neighbourhood cats who regularly call just for a bit of a fuss and a drink of water from a watering can that we keep outside, that we use for topping up the birds` water.

Love Lynne xx

I don't have a cat either - I do have a catapult however, so they tend not to s**t in our garden anymore.

Hi Nic,

I have a cat, his name is Chinchilla. I can’t type right now because my hands are hurting and burning from Fibromyalgia. How do I upload a photo?

Ah, that explains the user name I guess chinchi! I think you can only upload a photo in a new post, so if you do that, you should see a button which says "upload photo".

We have rain today, so our garden visitor was sat on the patio, looking wistfully at the doors when I came down to make a cup of tea ... I wish I'd taken a picture!
