Hi there, general query, but wondered what the best routine/time is to take a blood test to check thyroid levels.
I've usually taken my own tests in the morning about 9.30am, but I've always done this after taking my thyroid meds at 7am that same morning. Having read a few messages on here, I'm beginning to wonder if I should be doing it differently?
Cheers

Yes, absolutely. It’s been found that having your bloods checked around 9am (fasting), having last had Levo 24 hrs previously, gives the most helpful indication of how your body is responding. Take your Levo after the blood draw.
I see this method referred to on the forum as a ‘patient to patient tip’, rather than being something inspired by or endorsed by the medical profession.
