I'm raising my thyroid Medication. In the past couple of months I was taking T4 71 mcg/T3 18 mcg. My cortisol level is flat all day based on four point Saliva Test and suffering from adrenal fatigue. I asked my doctor to increase T3 so she prescribed T3 in small doses 3.5 mcg so I can add it and find tune to the right dosage. I shifted morning dosage T4 71/T3 18 to 3:00 AM and added 3.5 mcg at 7 AM. I normally don't have blood pressure and my resting heart rate is 62 per minute but doing so raised my blood pressure to 145/80 and resting heart to 68 based on Fitbit. I started taking Carditone supplement to lower my blood pressure but not sure if I need to cut back the 3.5 mcg. My T3 is low and have no energy and my intension was to raise T3 to get my adrenal to recover. Please share your thoughts and if someone experienced the same thing when adding T3.
Thanks

When I added t3 my cortisol shot up from a low of 155 to 450 (155-650 range). And remained ok around 250-300 at 9am cortisol tests. However my last cortisol test this week has dropped to 160 (155-650) at 9am test.
I’m a bit concerned about this drop. I haven’t changed my medication t3 or t4. But I have been experiencing pain in my back area near my kidneys. I’m having a consultation with my gp this morning. I’ll ask for a retest and then check in with my endocrinologist also. I had a synacthen test in Oct last year and the results were excellent I was told.
