Can anybody advise the current price of T3 in U.K? Can it be obtained on a private prescription?

Thybon Henning 20mcg on private prescription is approx £60-£80 per 100 tablets

Typical daily dose is 3 x 5mcg per day or less

Cutting 20mcg to get 5mcg doses

But often need to start with private consultation as NHS wait is 1-2 years!

Here’s link for how to request Thyroid U.K.list of private Doctors emailed to you, but within the email a link to download list of recommended thyroid specialist endocrinologists who will prescribe T3

Ideally choose an endocrinologist to see privately initially and who also does NHS consultations

Private prescriptions are perfectly possible but they will cost more than the NHS would pay for the same product. Some notes here:

However, if you can get Thybon Henning prescribed through Roseway pharmacy, the cost might be lower.
