Vitamin D3 is better absorbed than vitamin D2.

D2 is generally sourced from plants and fungi.

D3 is generally of animal origin. One source is lanolin from sheep's wool.

D3 can also be sourced from a small number of vegan sources. I think lichen is one of them. I've never investigated vegan-sourced D3 so I don't have any knowledge of brands or cost.

Vitamin D mouth spray by Better You is very effective as it avoids poor gut function.

There’s a version made that also contains vitamin K2 Mk7.
