Dr appointment

Following on from my blood results posted yesterday, I had a phone appointment today.

It was with a doctor I don’t know from another practice, and I hope I never have to consult with her again.

First thing she asked was why have I stopped taking my medication?!! I assured her I haven’t (this seems to be a mantra amongst doctors, maybe it’s because they can’t diagnose what is actually going on with a thyroid-less body).

So the whole appointment was TSH focused and she told me my mental symptoms are probably due to something else and there are no physical symptoms with hypothyroidism-not that she had any interest in hearing any.

I have to retest in 2 weeks and book another appointment. Better hurry up and process the Levo then. 😏

They make ya sick don’t they , I’ve just had the same with a dr , she wanted to reduce my thyroxine, as she said I’m over medicated, I said I’m not , I said my t3 /t4 aren’t over she said we don’t do t3 that’s not important, I said well I hope you never have a thyroid issue because I think you’ll be interested in then ,I just get so fed up with them
