Hey I’m back. It’s been a while. I still have my thyroid condition as we all will.. I still have weight issues. I’m now post menopause as well. My bp well controlled but now I have SORE MUSCLES due to inactivity.

so it’s time to return to the gym and weight loss before I get any bigger.

I will try not to stress my body lol

Welcome back

This is your first post on thyroid forum we may be able to offer better advice if you add some history & information to your profile.

Sore muscles, blood pressure & weight issues might mean you’re not sufficiently replaced with thyroid levels.

What is your replacement dose?

Do you have access to your test results eg online access? You can request a printed copy if online access not available.

If you share your results with lab ranges we offer further guidance.

Hi!

How do you know your muscles are sore due to inactivity? And not B12 deficiency or anything else?

I see someone else has responded to your post in a thorough way, so am really just echoing what they say.

Thanks for the replies. I’m currently taking 125mcg levo nice recommendations whilst taking b.p. meds.

I’ve stopped being so active due to lack of energy and motivation lol

What were your last test results TSH, FT4 & FT3 add them with lab range.

For full testing you also need TPO, TG antibodies plus folate, ferritin, B12 Vitamin D.

Without optimal nutrient levo doesn’t work well & convert to the active FT3.

Many use private testing as NHS won’t test everything.

Do you take your medication away from replacement. Levo should be taken away from food / medications & supplements.
