I have a testosterone test scheduled for Wednesday morning at 8:30am. I am hoping that some people here might be familiar with this test in addition to tests involving thyroid issues. I know there are several suggestions for people having TSH tested; I scheduled the testosterone test for 8:30am assuming that the early time would be likely to produce the most accurate test result, as is suggested for TSH tests. I take several supplements; I know that biotin is thought to skew results for TSH tests; does anyone know whether that is also true for testosterone tests. And, are there any other suggestions regarding getting testosterone levels tested?
Thanks for any help.

It is said that biotin can give false results for any blood test, not just TSH or thyroid tests.
Check out labtestsonline, they give information about all sorts of blood tests. I believe there is a US website but here is the UK one open on the page for testosterone test and the box for "Sample required?" gives information about timing:
It's always best to take any supplements after a blood test just in case something does interfere with the test.. Biotin should be left off for about 3-7 days depending on the dose.
Thank you for your response. I have decided to stop all supplements until after the blood draw. I wish I would have thought about it sooner, but at the time blood is drawn it will be have been four days. Biotin (from super-B and multi-vitamin) has totaled 350 mcg/day.
