Normal in doctor speak just means within a given range. For me that is like sharing a wardrobe of clothes with your best friend. You go to the wardrobe and take out an outfit for the day only to find the jeans are too tight and the top too low cut for you. That is because although you and your friend are both normal sizes what suits her doesn't suit or quite fit you and you are very uncomfortable with the result.
Ask your surgery for your actual results and the ranges. Ranges are the numbers in brackets after your result - the ranges are the wardrobe you share with your friend. Post your results and the ranges on here and folks will comment and offer advice as to how you can get optimal rather than normal.
Also worth getting vit d, b12, folate and ferritin levels checked as you need good levels of vitamins to keep the body working efficiently.
