Symprove probiotic - when to take

hi all

I know some of you have taken this and results are mixed. It’s expensive but worth trying out.

Symprove instructions are to take first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

However for us hypos who take their T4 and/or T3 first thing on an empty stomach, which one should go first?

Wired123,

If this were me I would take thyroid meds first and wait at least 20 minutes, preferably a bit longer before taking Symprove.

Technically the probiotics should indirectly help thyroid med absorption but it is Symproves fillers that you need to be weary of. As a Hashi sufferer I would also show caution with this product that lists 'extract of germinated barley' as its second ingredients after water.

It was rather an expensive trial of 4 months for me, as it didn't do anything for me. Getting my vitamins and minerals and thyroid medication at the correct levels helped enormously.
