Testing after change in dose

Hello, I upped from a daily 100mcg dose to alternate days of 100mcg and 125mcg 10 weeks ago. I keep meaning to book a blood test and will call the Dr on Monday. The change in dose was prompted by an inability to lose weight. The change in dose hasn't helped with this yet... Anyway, my question is do I have to stop any of my supplements before my blood test? I take Vitamin D + K2 oral spray, Magnesium Plus with B vits and Vit C and Selenium with Zinc. Thank you all!

You stop any supplement containing Biotin (it will be in a B complex) for 7 days before the test. The others just take after the test on the day.

Weight loss isn't instant with an increase in dose of Levo. It takes time on an optimal dose and you really need to see TSH, FT4 and FT3 results, we need optimal FT3 level, low T3 makes weight loss difficult.

I think, personally, that if patients were having symptoms that a T3/T4 combination might be the slution for some of them if they could get a trial. Many GPs/Endos will not because the cost of T3 has gone sky high.
