I’ve done many tests with medichecks over the years. Tried to order a thyroid function test but am told now that they don’t deliver to Northern Ireland! Since when? It says on their site that they deliver to the UK. As far as I’m aware NI is still part of the UK! So angry!

Medichecks now not doing tests for NI patients? Since when?
Mickeydooley, Do contact them about this and let us know the outcome.
Mickeydooley, do you know of Dr Simon Au at Hillsborough Clinic? I seem to remember reading that Medichecks were available there when I tried to order them a while back. It might be worth asking if they have a service.
Let’s get checked might be an alternative option letsgetchecked.com/gb/en/ho...
Or Blue horizon or Thriva
Medichecks' own website explains thus:
Services in Northern Ireland are temporarily paused while we carry out compliance procedures as a result of the UK leaving the EU. Find out more here. [ Links to explanation I have pasted below. ]

Why can’t I purchase a test in Northern Ireland?

Following the UK's exit from the EU, there are a number of requirements that Medichecks needs to fulfill to ensure that we are compliant when offering our services in Northern Ireland.
We have already initiated our compliance process and we expect it to be completed in approximately 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately, this means that we need to temporarily pause our services in Northern Ireland.
As soon as the compliance process is complete, we will be offering our services in Northern Ireland again.
If you have already purchased a test with us and live in Northern Ireland, please get in touch with our customer care team on 03450 600 600 or by emailing customer.care@medichecks.com.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Yes, I discovered that last week, .. I’m from Northern Ireland, and have used Medichecks for a couple of years , . Really annoyed! As part of uk , but many services to Northern Ireland have been affected due to the Brexit debacle. I rang Medichecks after I got email from them with the announcement, as I had just posted a specimen the day before, .. they said the would honour that one but I had another one not yet used ,so they give me a refund for that one. The customer service manager, whom I was speaking to said their protocol for Northern Ireland would take a few weeks or so to make decisions on, I really hope they continue,...... such a disgrace.
