Hi. I have just had test results back from Medichecks they are as follows:-
TSH 5.54 (0.27-4.2)
Free T3 4.73 (3.1-6.8)
Free T4 10 (12-22)
I have been feeling dreadful lately due to vertigo and have had to take prochlorperazine every day due to the extreme nausea and feeling really off balance. Its the only change to my normal medication that I take and I have now been told not to take it after having a telephone consultation with an ENT and told to use cerrazine instead. I do have to have lots of tests done as a telephone consultation is not adequate for problems with the inner ear, but goodness knows how long I will have to wait for that. I did see on the information about the tablets that people with thyroid issues should be careful but it didn't state whether that was for people whom were hypo or hyper.
My normal tsh is under 1and I feel ok at that level, so I am assuming its these tablets which have caused the change in the TSH. I don't want to change my 1 1/2 grains NDT at the moment though as if it is the tablets then hopefully with me stopping them the TSH should start to lower.
I've just had a range of blood tests done through the gp so will see what comes back with those. I know they won't do the full thyroid range hence me doing it myself but hopefully they will at least do the B12, Ferritin, Folate I asked for.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
