I usually do a regular blood test via Medichecks every few months. This time I did a finger prick because it was just the smaller test. I’m sure people know it’s not easy to get blood from your finger and as usual I end up with three sore fingers! Anyway I posted the sample early Monday but it’s disappeared! It’s not arrived at the lab 5 days later. I’m a regular customer and not happy that this has happened.
I’m definitely not interested in getting another kit and doing the test again. No way. It seems that delivery of blood samples by Royal Mail isn’t reliable at the current time. Hard to understand really as the bag is bright pink and clearly marked as a blood sample!
Just wanted to let people know.

Presumably you had the Tracked24 label on your return envelope. Did you make a note of the tracking number before you posted it back? That way you can use RM's tracking facility. If it doesn't reach it's destination then it's up to Medichecks to take it up with RM as they paid for the service.
Tracked 24 doesn't guarantee it will arrive within 24 hours, they aim to deliver it within that time frame but it's often 48 hours.
I have returned quite a few samples since lockdown with Tracked24 labels - to 2 x Medichecks, 2 x Monitor My Health and 1 x Blue Horizon and all have arrived within 48 hours so I don't think we can categorically say that delivery of blood samples by Royal Mail isn’t reliable at the current time.
If members want to be sure it will arrive next day then use the Special Delivery Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm service available to purchase at the Post Office counter.
Ye it seems like it only happened to me!! Unfortunately I didn’t realise there Was a tracking number on the label until after it was posted!!! Typical!!!
They actually mention making a note of the tracking number in their Ts and Cs; however, they do make finding their Ts and Cs particularly difficult! I can never find them from their menu on their website, I have to Google "Medichecks terms and conditions" to get a link!
