Bovine thyroid supplements

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has good experiences with bovine thyroid supplements from new zealand. After changing from armour (which worked perfectly) to erfa (not so good for me) to synthetic L thyroxine and cytomel, I gained a lot of weight. Would novothyral be better? I have a new orthomelcular doctor now who adviced the bovine thyroid supplements, but it went so fast and he didn t give me a proper explanation. I don t even know how much t4/t3 is in these supplements, it is not mentioned on the packege. What are you experiences?🙏🏻

It's not mentioned on their package because it's a thyroid glandular, not NDT, and there is no declared hormone content with glandulars (if there was it would be NDT and prescription only).

I bought this as I was desperate because I can’t source NDT. It did not help me - I now have 5 bottles unopened & of no use to me.

Okay thanks! I tookfor two weeks, very big energy increase but lot s of acne and diarrhea. After two weeks very tired and so i stopped for a few days and now taking half the dose of 65 per day...also some dizziness and a lot of head aches. Yes armour thyroid is still so expensive. Will go to the doctor again but not sure there are many options left...

I had luck with a certain brand of bovine thyroid glandular, PM me if interested. It worked well, but I got nervous about possible high reverse T3 from bovine probably being higher T4 content.

I switched to self sourced T3 but informed my doctor of doing so. Hope this helps!
