Hello everyone, just an update - my hairs still falling out - it all over my flat... its must be 6/7 since H-pylori eradication using antibiotics and ppi. I am now seeing a functional health practitioner who costing me an arm and leg ie. lots of money. I'm just hoping something can be done. I feel like i will give it another month and try taking T3 liothyronine. bit nervous about taking it. But feel the T3 could help my hair loss - I'm on 75mg of levothyroxine at the moment.
Any thoughts and advice, experiences?

Have you been on a higher dose of levo? 75mcg is a low dose. Have you got any recent blood results to guide our advice? T3 is not a quick or easy solution. It takes time to build up your dose, then your dose needs to be optimised along with your thyroxine if you go combo.
How are your vitamin levels? If you have been poorly they may need boosting. I
You say "its must be 6/7 since H-pylori eradication using antibiotics and ppi.". H-Pylori is needed for our good health. It is only when it has got out of control that it causes problems, but we do need some.
I would suggest taking probiotics to restore your gut bacteria balance. Water Kefir can be made easily at home and won't cost you an arm and a leg. Sauerkraut is another good one, and of course you can buy others in tablet of capsule form. Try and use more than one as it is the balance that is important.
You could try mastic gum (away from meds) or activated charcoal to prevent reinfection. These are to cleanse rather than replenish though. Water kefir is a good idea; sauerkraut too, provided you don't get histamine issues ( can make you swell up if you have low DAO enzyme).
I agree with previous posters that you need to know your labs before adjusting your thyroid meds. The h pylori and ppis would have upset vitamin and mineral absorption and conversion from t4 to t3 is likely to be impaired, but t3 is not going to help if you have a profound deficiency in something like b12.
I cannot get any medication as I'm in normal range. However, I have had success with taking supplements: iron, vit d, vit b (folate/ferritin). It's taken ca 4-5 months but my hair is noticeably regrowing. It's not 100% yet (ever?) but I'm no longer self conscious about my bald patches.
