You have Hashimoto's disease you are very positive for antibodies! Doc probably doesn't know what to do! Are you on levothyroxine? If you are your TSH should be 1 or less to help suppress the antibodies. If not on levo you need to be as T4 and T3 are likely to be low and your vitamin and mineral levels likely trashed. A gluten free diet should help.
Just read your previous post and see the idiot questioned you compliance. he needs to go back to med school, though he probably won't learn much new there! You need an increase in levo asap and you need to get vitamins and other blood levels tested, iron, ferritin, folate, Vit B12, Vit D. Report back here when you have results. Change doc if they won't increase your levo.
I have these already (done Dec 2017)
Ferritin 16 (15 - 150)
Folate 3.5 (4.6 - 18.7)
Vitamin B12 203 (190 - 900)
Vitamin D total 55.2 (50 - 75 suboptimal)
I take 9000IU vitamin D. Iron I no longer take. B12 I am due B12 injections
crimple I think it was the Endo questioning compliance, but it is the GP misreading these results.
Ferritin and folate are below range and whilst Vit B12 and Vit D may be in range they are not good enough. You cannot use the levothyroxine properly with such low levels. Hopefully SeasideSusie on here can offer advice re supplements. Check out her posts.
I expect he is reading your levels back to front - that the number in brackets is your result - when it is the first number which is your level!
Ah ,the language used! Yes ,they are outside the positive ranges i.e. less than 34 and less than 115 ,if "positive " means within range. You could say the results are negative for you having such high positive antibodies!
Yikes.
