Beathing technique to tackle autoimmune conditions

Did anyone see episode 2 of Dr Weston's Incredible Medicine (BBC) featuring the Ice Man and his breathing technique? He seems to be able to help his immune system to defeat autoimmune conditions. It did seem to increase adreneline which I wasnt sure was a good idea for us!

Hi Topaz1, I am currently doing Whim Hof breathing technique. I am on my second week of doing it. I understand that this technique makes your body alkaline and that is important as inflammation plays a huge role in any disease. I watched also another person talking about having a health condition that left him almost crippled and how he recovered from that using Hof method.

I must admit I had forgotten all about this so thank you for reminding me.

Someone I know who is autoimmune hypothyroid does it. She does have some T3 with her Levo. But she's amazing. A bundle of energy. Before she started other autoimmune illnesses were starting to knock her about a bit and then she got stung by a bee and that set off a reaction she couldn't stop for a long time.

That's when she got into the breathing. She's done it for years now and swears by it. She does the ice baths too.

That is great. I started it myself recently. I have to admit that I do other things as well. I do stretching in the morning, I read Bible, Louise Hay "Heal your life'. I am doing other supplements in the form of powders and I am taking them sublingual, this way their effect is amplified. I do use Progesterone oil and pills, this way I feel balanced and in a good mood all day long. I do fitness sometime in the afternoon sometimes or I am going for walks. I am thinking about starting a form of art in order to express myself.
