I've just got my Genova adrenal stress profile back and the results are as follows:
Sample 1 (post awakening): 41.66 H (7.45-32.56)
Sample 2 (+4-5 hours): 11.59 H (2.76-11.31)
Sample 3 (+4-5 hours): 9.66 H (1.38-7.45)
Sample 4 (prior to sleep): 3.03 (0.83-3.86)
DHEA mean: 0.24
DHEA : cortisol ratio 0.008 L (0.015-0.150)
DHEA sample 1 (am): 0.33 (0.25-2.22)
DHEA sample 3 (pm): 0.14 (0.25-2.22)
So I guess my apparent conversion problem isn't caused by low cortisol
I wasn't feeling particularly stressed at the time the samples were taken, my depression is well controlled, I'm not pregnant, obese or alcoholic.
What does the below-range DHEA to cortisol reading mean? It's not explained on the accompanying info sheet.
Apart from the fact that three of the four saliva samples are over range do I need to worry much?
Thanks
Jo
