Ranges would be handy! :)

However, TSH is still too high, in my opinion...

Have you had the Pulse Article...?

Drop me an email - louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org

Looks like you're still hypo.. low basal temperature..

question is... do you need more T4 or do you have a conversion issue which means you can't convert your T4 into T3...

Difficult indeed to find this out..

However... You can... take your temp first thing in the morning for a week and see if it's low (like 97 or below).. if it is, your definitely not getting enough meds

If your GP doesn't believe in T3 you may need to change GP...

Or you could read a lot and convince GP..

Personally I went to a private consultant (paid £320) and got her to write to my GP telling him what to prescribe. This after changing GP.... so it's not easy...

You should AT LEAST get some more T4 with those results.. My consultant says I should have a TSH of between 0.1 and 1 (although official ranges are different) thing to remember is that the "ranges" are for healthy people, that tells the doc whether they should look for a thyroid issue.. but if you're already diagnosed you need "optimal" not "normal" to feel well and that's a bit individual

You can get T3 in Greece without a prescription.. where are you?

I got t3 from my endocrinologist. only 10mg and i am on 100 mg of levothyroxine

Normal range for tsh is 0,2 to 5.00

I have conversion problems thats why i am on t3.

i am from scotland

Your TSH is still too high. I think you should be on T3 alone if you have conversion problems as it is at the bottom of the range and we cannot function without a proper T3 level. Our brain has the most T3 cells (of the billions in our body). T4 is the inactive hormone.

t4 normal range is 9-21

t3 is 1.5-3,00 i think
