Hi have pain in left side again bowels seem to have mind off it's own again feel so tired lack off motivation had cuts removed few years ago feel like it's menopause symptoms not sure had IBS for years was taking mebravine and wheat free food and lactose free milk nothing seems to work fed up with a explosive bowel

have you been tested for bile acid malabsorption? I was told for years I had IBS but 6 years ago my diarrhoea was bad and I was being sick and was referred to gastro. Had a sehcat scan (amongst other tests) and was diagnosed with bam. Look at bad-uk.org website. Not a lot of GPs know about this condition and just say it’s IBS. If you think this could be you, ask for referral, in the meantime your GP can prescribe colestyramine sachets which help bind the bile so you have more formed stools rather than diarrhoea.

No not on HRT been back to docs just told me double up on my gastro tablets was on 100mg off sertraline put me up to 150 so here we go again feeling fobbed off
