I take Mebeverin and Mintec both on prescription to help settle my stomach I don’t think they should slow the bowel you need to speak to a pharmacist they have a book with ALL side affects

Hi ,I was taking both together a while ago , but the doctor told me to take either Colpermin or Mebeverine as they both do the same job . They as antispasmodics which slow the bowel down , so if you’ve got slow bowels I wouldn’t take both , choose the one that suits you best

If you're ever worried about interactions, you can always refer to the British National Formulary website: bnf.nice.org.uk/interaction/
