Hey everyone this is my 1st post, hoping to get some advice from other sufferers. I've recently been diagnosed with ibs, my main issues are tummy aches and trapped wind/cramps. I'm awaiting a call from gp following a colonoscopy to advice on treatments available but in the meab time what can I be doing to ease my stomach aches? Currently sat here with a hot water bottle and peppermint tea. Thanks

Constant tummy ache
See what your GP says. But for me I have been put on Mebeverine capsules and take when needed, also I practise yoga, would suggest you look at your diet to see if anything triggers your pain. 🍀🍀
I had a constant stomach ache for a good couple of years, it was always worse after eating, even a small amount - it would feel like I had a boulder in my stomach - the doctors were not able to help but over time I worked out that I had low stomach acid - which meant I was struggling to digest food, it was talking much longer that and of course could be fermenting as it took so long. Not sure if its anything like what you are going through but It was something I had wished I had known earlier
Best wishes
