Needing Advice
He recently started

I believe in November 2019. Things have gone to shit since then. In Jan 2020, he was hospitalized for left flank pain and being unable to pee. It was found that he had hydronephrosis of the left kidney so they attempted a left ureteral stent.

Zometa infusion and PSA in my rear view mirror for a few months.
And does this possibly mean
zometa
doesn't agree with my body make up.

How to manage MDD and get out of Survival Mode?
I deal with MDD, and other stuff, but MDD is the main thing I am solving right now. I am trying to get out of survival mode. Like a ton of other people I lost my job due to COVID. I will be financially okay for a few months, maybe more with unemployment. I do not like where I live and feel unsafe. I

Everything about Prostate Cancer
Also he gets a monthly IV infusion of
Zometa
to help with bone damage caused by cancer spread to bone. This was at the beginning of December. Mid December he had the TURP surgery. It was a success. Foley catheter no longer needed and full control of urination with no issues.

Should I switch from Levothyroxine to NDT?
Hi. I have hypothyroidism (Hashimoto's) and have been taking Levothyroxine for one year and 3 months. My dose is 50 mcg for 5 days per week and 75 mcg twice a week. I seem to be very sensitive to Levothyroxine. I lose a lot - and I mean A LOT - of hair when I am taking even 25 mcg a week more than

Feel sick after taken medication and eating... a little worried
I've been sick since last Friday where I'd be sick after every meal. Yesterday i seemed to be back to normal. However tonight, I took; x2 250mg Naproxen (I usually take 1 500mg tablet but a new pharmacy service could only give me the lower dosage) X2 Omeprazole as a few weeks ago, I found out that I

Supplement Advice
I know there’s been a few posts already about this so apologies for me asking but just want some advice specifically for my situation. I’m 37 had 6 failed IUIs in 2019 and was about to start round 1 of IVF when lockdown kicked in. I have underactive thyroid so take thyroxine & I have low ovarian reserve

Bonkers?
If I choose bi-monthly, they will change Denosumab for
Zometa
which involves a canula apparently (only because Denosumab is not available in a 2 month dose).

Zometa was suggested today Although need clearance from my dentist because possible jaw side effects.
My oncologist suggested
zometa
. She also mentioned my options for treatment are limited and she hoped for a longer run with zytiga. Clinical trials and chemo are left on the table and additional SBRT as needed. Question: can someone give me the skinny on
zometa
. Question 2.

Pleural Effusions
Still on Lupron 6 months shot and monthly
Zometa
. PSA is going down since chemo (79) from 120’s Already had chemo in 2016 when dx with 642 PSA with bone Mets Gleason 7. Did the xstandi and zytiga. If chemo is causing effusion, what is next best options? Do not do well with radiation.

Lupron, baking soda, low PSA
Zometa
and lupron were so hard on my Dad that we decided to hold off on the next injection. Has been off both since Dec 10, the date he was scheduled for his next 3-month injection. On diagnosis, PSA was over 1k, he recovered from pneumonia in Oct and a 12-day stay in the icu.

Some good news today On PSMA SCAN
I stopped all meds except the metformin,
zometa
and celebrex for a “vacation” about a year ago with a PSA of .02 that had been consistent for about six months.

Next steps after Xtandi and Zytiga
I’ve had Docetaxel, Lupron, Xtandi,
Zometa
, and now Zytiga. My PSA initially decreased with Xtandi in November of 2017, but after 2 years it rose, so I switched to Zytiga in October of 2019. Continued to rise, from 1.6 to 2.1 in one month.

Could it be effects of Zometa after SRT?
Last Monday the 23rd, I had my monthly
Zometa
and the Ibrance cycle ended on the 26th. Now I have a vague ache and tiredness in my lower back and hips along with the fatigue. The ache is worse than it was when the first progression in November was discovered.
