Day 4: Getting the thigh burn with Form and Flow
Link: https://youtu.be/Dg50yX-8xWI 🧘🏽🧘🏿🧘🧘🏻I have to admit, having now done 5 sessions with 4 different Pilates or
Yoga
instructors, I wouldn’t be able to chose between them.

After 18 months of serious training and weight loss (9 stone off so far), my PT introduced me to
yoga
. OMG the first time I was able to do dolphin on the wall I felt so empowered, even if I'm over 50. Now working on the crow, cant quite get it but I will eventually.

Armour vs Metavive
I lost 15 kgs since January, walk around 1 hr min. a day,
yoga
3x a week. Supplementing in all sorts. Vit.D at 131 as a result. I'm slowing down with this now. Question is where do you find Armour? What is the difference between Armour and Metavive?

CR9: Bridging to Bridge
I’d ended up having taken 3 ‘rest’ days (with classes in
yoga
, Pilates and breathing/meditation. Still, I’d not had a great night’s sleep, so anticipated it being more of a struggle. Instead, it was about as perfect a run as I could hope for. Loved it.

Look what I did today...and suffered the consequences!
I’ve put a hot water bottle on it and rolled a golf ball under it (feels amazing) and will do some
yoga
this evening or tomorrow. Is there anything else I should try? The muscle feels like stone and I’m trying to be active.

I've been crying a lot during chemo
I'm doing soft
yoga
everyday, and meditation, reading, but I still have my emotions all over the place.

Kumbhak Pranayam - For diabetes
If you add
Pranayama to your daily physical exercise routine, it helps a lot. Oxygen is freely available in air and is vital for burning your fuel ( food you eat). Without food one can survive for days, months and even years....but one can not survive without oxygen...

W7R1 bounce back
For the run, I summoned to my cause the best breathing lessons from
yoga
and Pilates, where you visualise the breathe travelling into the problem area. And my thanks to the lovely Pilates teacher who adapted the Monday class to accommodate/ help my issues.

Your breath. The great untapped resource. Use it!
And huge thanks to Ben Wolff for sharing this at a class I went to at the Shala, a
yoga
studio in south London, in February 2019. All we did was breathe 6 seconds in, 6 seconds out - to the rhythm of his clicker ticker.

Can't quite believe it - Week 9 Run 1!!
Having never run before and not being a natural running type at all (dance and
yoga
being more me!) and due to a few health setbacks it has taken me 6 months to get to this point but I just completed Run 1 of what is supposed be Week 9 and I'm super happy.

Have an explore for yourself with this yin

A runner’s shopping dreams: phone holsters / belts
, his
yoga
mat, his resistance bands. We share - of course - but they live on my side of the room! 🤣 In the last 7 months I actually bought only two items, a pair of running shoes and a running belt. The running belt was an essential to keep my rather large iPhone secure.

I need a plan...
I can't do the 30 day
yoga
plans at the moment (which is making me very sad 😥) as anything that stretches my calf muscle, such as downward facing dog, is a big no no. So... tell me, what's your best / favourite / most rewarding / most productive strengthening exercises..
