T3 update for @relentless
I managed a work out on Sunday,
yoga
Monday, college open day and parents evening in the same week. I’ve noticed the Dr Bavind Williams observation that if I eat sugars, I get an adrenaline rush with the insulin and am left exhausted. No sugar, no rush, steady energy.

A call messed all my progress.Scared of the future. 3am thoughts what will happen when sis gets 18. Scary thoughts)
I was feeling kinda good, exam, studying, doing
yoga
, working on myself. Then grandma called. She said "dad's with your sister". It was late so i thought "damn, what if mom went crazy and sis escaped to his place". Then found out dad's home. And thought if dad's home this means mom's not.

So
yoga
and weights on days I felt well enough and then got out weeks later to do a 3k - so hard but I was so happy. I have built up slowly and even did week 1 run 1 of ct5k with my son which I loved - I needed the positivity and encouragement from Sanjay and it was perfect to start off again.

Perimenopause Anxiety Panic attacks
I had panic attacks that started when I was about 38 and took Citalopram which helped a little plus CBT, meditation and
yoga
. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same and did they take any further medication that really helped.

Pain below buttocks both sides. Rheumatologist says could be from PMR but who knows.
No other advice except try a
yoga
child pose … I know many of you lovely people not only have PMR but also osteoarthritis and other pain syndromes. Any ideas of what this could be and what would help? Also, I’ve never used the word butt so many times in a post 🤣

Anxiety about health and sleep
I plan to talk to a therapist who can teach me some CBT techniques and I started to do mediation and a little
yoga
. Everyday is a struggle but I think things are getting better, whether it be the bump in SSRI finally kicking in or all of the other things that I’ve been doing for self-help.

Exercise after a Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack
Two years on, I still suffer occasional bouts of often debilitating pain in my chest and for the last year have not exercised - even
yoga
- yes,
yoga
, puts too much strain on my upper torso. What is other people's experience of finding some form of exercise tailored to heart patients?

self starting with inattentive add
I used to be able to get myself to play sports, to contact people first to hangout, to get myself to do
yoga
. Now I avoid any phone calls and going out places seems like the biggest chore. I am wondering if there is anyone that has self starting issues and what they do to help?

Another run, and starting on Ankle Mobility Drills
So I told myself that for the next few weeks, I will explore how I could add some exercises and drills focussing on ankle mobility, and add them into daily activity, wether that is walking, running,
yoga
or doing household chores.

Recovering from gerd
There's a wealth of information and studies to support the brain/gut connection and once I began to address my anxiety (meditation, breathing exercises and acupuncture as well as reducing the high intensity exercise I was doing and incorporating more
yoga
and pilates based exercise) my symptoms massively

STATUS UPDATE
I am looking at alternatives such as mental health, acupuncture, stretching,
yoga
and ect. Fortunately, a side effect being off prednisone I have lost 25 pounds and feels great. Decided to get a second opinion from another Rheumatologist. My appointment will be the end of the January.

Self-care with Chronic illness
This can include relaxation techniques such as meditation or
yoga
, or talking to a therapist or counselor. Staying organized. Keeping track of appointments, medications, and treatment plans can help patients stay on top of their health and avoid missed doses or appointments.

Famotidine side effects
Unfortunately I had just about got my BM sorted to vaguely normal with diet,
yoga
and bio kult boosted. Within a day of taking these tablets it out of whack again - going multiple times, feel bloated etc. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I’m feeling more balanced as I’m incorporating martial arts,
yoga
