To get signed off, or not to get signed-off, that is today's question!
- leaving work before 7pm, and generally prepping the ground for me to be less available than the regular 8am to 9/10pm that I was doing before, and prioritising
yoga
, choir, acupuncture in the evenings, things that matter to me and my stress levels.

Daily anxieties carry over to bedtime?
Exercise seems to help but I cannot really go for a vigorous walk at 2:30am as much as I know it would help; In honesty, I have not tried meditation or
yoga
, due to my upbringing I have a deeply ingrained "all or nothing" attitude/mentality which is especially challenging when dealing with mental health

YWA May Calendar: BLOOM
Very quickly rushing in and putting out our virtual
Yoga
mat for YWA May. It’s been very busy here in my house, often actually attending to present, past and future Blooms in the garden, so the name seems apt. But without further ado, here’s our May YWA calendar, called BLOOM.

🍏April Quest: Week2 Why do we run?
Hydration, diet, cross training, sleep, Pilates,
yoga
, walking, strength & flex, taking care of your feet etc You are not superman! Which one is most relevant and helpful for you to work on this week? ⭐️That's the thing about running: your greatest runs are rarely measured by racing success.

An eventful and exciting few days...
*
Yoga
on the decking... Greeting the morning. So lovely! * Two walks completed with Mr OF... short but sweet. * Longer walk yesterday along a trail to our old camp site location in the Llanberis Pass. Mr OF was setting a slightly faster pace, which I found easier to walk too.

Tapering - have I got it wrong?
I felt fantastic and within a month started slowly to increase my level of exercise and activity, so that by June I was swimming & doing pilates/
yoga
as normal, both I previously had to give up due to pain. I followed GP advice on tapering.

Ooh, going downstairs the following day!...knees ouch
I'm trying to improve my leg/knee strength with my
yoga
practices but am curious to hear others' experiences before I start the longer, consistent runs (just did wk6r2). Family member is a physio so might give her a call for advice!

3 Arrows Heme dose & Raising T3 - how long might it take?!
Also been working on reducing stress through breathwork and Hot Yin
Yoga
x1 or x2 each week. Selenium levels were tested in February and were fine. I continue to eat 2 Brazil nuts per day. Copper was low so I supplemented for 8 weeks. I feel good.

Sport after nephrectomy
I used think nothing of long bike rides (of around 90km/3 hours) and 10 mile runs on the weekend with several training sessions (often before and after work) during the week consisting of swimming (pool and open water), running, cycling (road and trails), gym and maybe some
yoga

S&F Catch-Up: Let us know about what you’ve been up to in February
I recently got reminded of the general benefits of

when watching this YouTube channel from a weightlifter who switched over to doing 30 days of
yoga

yoga
every day for 30 days https://youtu.be/jvUej9iVQyQ So, what kind of

Something to think about
Yoga
teacher and spiritual leader Sadhguru on the miracles of daily life: "Every moment there are a million miracles happening around you: a flower blossoming, a bird tweeting, a bee humming, a raindrop falling, a snowflake wafting along the clear evening air.

Exercise and PMR
Before all the spinal fractures and bursitis and PMR etc I was reasonably fit, but not athletic and I did a 1.5 hour weekly Hatha
yoga
class. Even earlier this year I could do an occasional 6-7 mile coastal walk.
