Joint/Muscle pains new
I'm quite fit; 3 times a week
Yoga
, walking etc so this is totally new. What is different is I began to drink lemon in water, 1/2 lemon daily. The other nagging thought is 2 coffees a day.

Problems with muscle weakness
I do chair
yoga
, use weights .5kg and 1kgm to do some work on upper body strength. I used to swim but hip problems stopped that. Having Osteoporosis too, damage in my hips and spine got to be a bit careful about how much physical stress I put on joints and spine.

Happy Week 1 January Questers.
Strength and flex is going well though I've changed to focusing on this thorough
yoga
(2 out of three days so far) and finally my more energetic walking is coming on. I read an article that gave me the idea of rotating my right hip slightly inward when striding.

Any weight loss tips have hypothyroidism
I exercise about 3-4 times a week currently (swimming,
yoga
, body combat, walking) and work a full time (vet nurse so on my feet and mobile all day). I take 50mcg levythroxine once a day normally in morning an hour before food or caffiene. Recent blood results TSH 2.62mU/L (ref range 0.27-4.2).

6 MONTH PMR UPDATE
Hoping to use alternative means such as weight reduction,
yoga
, exercise and chiropractor to assist. Last resort would be steroid shots. I have imaging to state I have moderate to severe spinal degeneration in the lumbar--> sacral region. I have an appointment with my PCM in a few weeks.

Hello
I'm new here, and relatively new to
yoga
. I don't have a routine, so I'd love some advice about how to do that. I have CFS/ME, asthma and sciatica which have necessitated my change of fitness plans (I used to walk, cycle and Zumba)

AN ALL NEW MAT: Sept Yoga and Pilates Mat
A short daily practice of
Yoga
or Mat Pilates is perfect to get some S&F into your day. And feel free to - as Adriene says - “find what feels good”, meaning if your knees feel too sensitive, amend that Child’s Pose.

I decided to act my age ...
I still do
yoga
and pilates, though that has slid away somewhat with it being cold to get out of bed and into a cold room! But I have not been doing the strengthening work that an old geezer needs to.

Bench mark blood tests before switching to NDT
Otherwise I keep healthy with
yoga
, regular exercise and working voluntarily with three arts charities.) I now wish to switch to NDT for two main reasons: 1. Increasingly low energy and continuing hypersensitivity to cold. 2.

Slipped/herniated disc rehab
I’ve been doing
yoga
everyday for 20 minutes after my workouts and I still do the exercises the physio gave me sometimes. However it’s still always there, like that twinge and I’m still cautious with a lot of exercises and activities as it sets it back off.

on holiday and a hard lesson learned with this disease.
I intend to drop back down to 4mg week 3 of our holiday as we’re cruising back to the UK, so plenty of time to recover,
yoga
, Pilates, massage, spa etc . I then plan to follow the dead slow taper once I’ve recovered from the holiday 🤞 Any thoughts welcome

Extreme wind
Sometime it feels like an ulcer being poked, sometimes it's debilitating high pressure, it can be excruciating and I can't even think straight, and when it comes out, when I can get it out (all kinds of
yoga
poses), it's like a canon going off and very antisocial, and the after-ache.

Gave myself a running reward that will give myself a running reward!
Catch up with all
yoga
sessions… nope. So last week was the first week I hit my goal (run 3 times per week) and my reward was signing up to my next virtual distance event! (And the seconds medal races have an immensely competitive price tag!)
