Wondering what is next?
Is going to have Bone scan and CT this month to see if
Xtandi
is working but I think that is causing the bad taste in his mouth so I will ask dr. At his app. on the 25 So what’s next? He does not feel good most of the time so yes it is consuming our life. Not complaint just wish he felt better.

I was started onto
Xtandi
, which improved my symptoms, but a biopsy a few months later revealed that my prostate adenocarcinoma had morphed and was now 90% small-cell and 10% sarcomatoid. I had two TURPS in 2 months, to allow me to pee and I went from self-catheterising to 100% incontinent.

Chemo again -- after all other treatments for advance PCa
In the first two years he went through just about everything (Xofigo, Provenge, then
Xtandi
, and squeezed a few months out of Zytiga). Bugger cells have found their work arounds. So what's up now?

Has anyone done docetaxel with ADT as a first line treatment?
Curious if anyone else has gone right to chemo instead of Zytiga/
Xtandi
or used it in conjunction as a first-line treatment? Also, are there any trials or studies right now for using these drugs prior to demonstrated castration-resistance?

Enzalutamide (Xtandi) vs Abiraterone (Zytiga) for mHSPCA
Good trial results for both of these for mHSPCa, combined with ADT. Anyone here know the pros/cons? Which has better pfs and os? Thanks. Randall

Per Request
Receiving radiation now, switching from Zytiga to
Xtandi
next week. We’ve been to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in PGH. Then Cleveland Clinic, now Mayo, with a visit to MD Anderson in there for another opinion. They all say the same and always have. They don’t give us hope.

PSA RISING
Started
Xtandi
. 4 weeks later he ended up with lymphadema left thigh. 10 months later the
Xtandi
is no longer working. First of all his PSA never went below 0.7. Once it reached that number it went to 1.15 then 2.14 and recently 2.95. Had CT scan of chest, abdomen, pelvis and bone scan.

Where can my husband get a PSMA scan in the US without having had chemo?
He takes
Xtandi
which is currently effective. I have only been able to find PSMA studies that require previous chemo and progression on
Xtandi
. Thanks.

Xtandi for non MCRPC
I simply opted for
Xtandi
simply because the FAA is used to dealing with this drug. Has anyone gone to Erleada?

New Chapter: Xofigo!
I think
Xtandi
took care of the rib pain I had. Last two measures showed my PSA stalled at 26. Hopefully the Xofigo will help to drive it back to undetectable. Meanwhile I will continue with the ranch work in a cautious manner and enjoy Spring 2019. Sunshine and flowers to you all!

XTANDI worries
My 86 year old Father has been advised to begin taking
XTANDI
. At 62 his Prostate was removed, been in treatment since. Currently PSA is 5, Lupron injections every 3 months. I am worried about side effects, as he lives alone.

First post: Hazy with Xtandi - any experience/advice?
Advanced prostate cancer, Gleason 9, meta to spine; done bicalcutamide, Zytiga, docetaxel (stopped for severe reaction),
Xtandi
for 6 weeks and feeling hazy (slow, hard to concentrate). Last PSA check 0.6. Anybody share experience or advice? Much appreciated.

Anyone Familiar With a Research Study JH17U01?
It involves combining
Xtandi
with a drug referred to as LY2157299. Its in phase II. My MO at Northshore referred me. The research is supported by Johns Hopkins and Eli Lilly. Right now it up to my insurance if I can participate.

Xtandi fatigue and back pain
My question is: could this be from something other than
Xtandi
? Does it work to take a vacation? I am worn out going to the store with my wife. Most of you guys haven't seemed to have trouble, or does it get worse with time? Thanks for your input.
