Drug Holiday
I've been taking
xeloda
for the past 2 years and it's working like a charm- except for my hand and foot syndrome but I can deal with it. Been doing 1500 mg twice a day 7 days on 7 days off. Asked my MD for a drug Holiday and he said fine.

MBC new with Ibrance
I had XGEVA shots,
Xeloda
oral chemo, aromasin. Again, in Feb 2017 bone mets progressed to the spine, pelvis area regressed. I resume XGEVA, with additional Faslodex. After a year, had my recent Petscan, cancer cells seen in some more areas of the spine and lymph nodes in patatracheal grew 6cm.

Aches, pains on Ibrance + Letrozole
I didn’t have this with
Xeloda
or Afinitor. Has anyone out there experienced this bizarre achiness and pain? Do you use cream on the areas and pain meds? That’s what I’ve been doing, but it’s so aggravating! Thanks for any info on this condition. Kats2

Moving on from Xeloda to Doxil
I was on
Xeloda
with good results from Feb. 2017 until Nov. 2017 when scans and blood tests showed the cancer had begun growing again: new and larger bone mets, liver tumors more numerous and growing. I started on Doxil Dec. 13 and my next treatment is Jan. 10.

My story
So I stopped the Ibrance did some radiation and now I'm on
Xeloda
. I take 3 500mg mornings and the same at night. I still do the zomeda but I will do the faslodex 1more time next Tues. So far I have been ok but all of a sudden I started having extreme pain in my buttocks and down both legs.

I am new to faslodex
Had laradex for almost 3 years then
Xeloda
for a year and for the last 3 months Navelbine. At some point each has failed and my CEA and CA125 have risen and the liver met has grown - now some 6x2cm! Now my oncologist has decided that Faslodex may be the answer for a while.

Gemzar
I was taking
Xeloda
and Tykerb for 13 months. My cancer was diagnosed on March 30, 2014 This past Thursday I started a new IV chemo with Gemzar and Herceptin. Has anyone been on Gemzar? Was it successful in slowing down your cancer?
