Urgent help please - feeling total despair - think I'm going crazy after stopping and restarting levothyroxine - blood results included
Hi, This won't be the full story as I don't want to to make the post too long and hard/annoying to read. It's already going to be too long. RAI for Graves around 11 years ago. Never felt good on T4 since. Normal dose around 100 micrograms plus around 12.5 micrograms a couple of times a week. Mostly stopped

High TSH, increasing TPO antibodies, latest results!
Hi everyone! I'll be a pin cushion by the time I'm done doing these home blood tests..... So I decided to do the full health plus tpo from Monitor My Health (who currently have 20% off all their tests, annoyingly!) on Monday, results came back early this morning. I will upload screenshots rather than

new test results and dose review advice.
Hello, I was started on levothyroxine by my GP on the 8th of January following test results that showed hypothyroidism. I had had symptoms for a while snd thought they were perimenopause, but my TSH levels were tested previously and came back ok (as shown by my July 2023 test results) T4 wasn’t tested

Hypothyroid Labs In The Pits
Long story short. My 6th Endocrinologist retired over a year ago when my labs were good. I'm back to seeing my GP for the past year for Thyroid and now my labs are in the pits. Drugs used for past 6 months: 125mcg Synthroid and 1.5 mcgs Liothyronine. (I will admit that I was using Synthroid every other

Need info for doctor's appointment
I have been freezing cold for many years, but the situation is now ridiculous. I only take off my cardigan when the temperature outside is in the 20s. I had a partial thyroudectomy in 1976, aged 22, after carbimazole failed to do the job. I also suffer from extreme constipation. As I have been diagnosed

Found some old results
From all my test results in my bio, it is known I am a poor convertor. From recommendations within the Group back in 2016 it was felt I needed to add some T3, which my Endo at the time wouldn't do because of my severe anxiety levels and he said it would have to be dosed very carefully. I started the

I’ve just had a recent blood test and surprisingly my TSH has fallen. I’m on 75 of levo. Not having any symptoms of over active thyroid. I checked my multi vitamin and it has Biotin in it? Would this make a big difference- should I ask for re-test? Your Serum TSH level history The table below shows

herbs to help anxiety
people keep telling my to try ashwaganda to help with my anxiety. I have read that it can affect the thyroid and it is not recommended. I know when I took it previously that was included in a ‘rhealsuperfoods’ balance tonic powder drink along with maca root it definitely calmed me down but at the time

Hashis and Graves? Watch and Wait has now caught up.
About 15 months or so, I had an appointment for a thyroid specialist as my thyroid tests pointed towards Graves. I had been hypothyroid for about 17years when my different results meant my gp prescribing less and less levo. When the amount became 12.5mcg, (after an original 150 mcg) I asked to be
