New To The Site
Hello, I am new to the site. I am a 46 year old Canadian male who is in otherwise good health. In April of this year, I was walking my dog and I tripped over a piece of wood protruding from the ground. I ended up with a splinter in my right shin. I removed the splinter, dressed the wound, applied

What to say to the Doctor
Following advice on here I have an appointment with my Doctor on Thursday to discuss my health. Consensus of opinion on here was that I needed an increase in my Levothyroxine, that my Ferritin was low, Vit D was low. I have a horrid feeling this is going to be a battle so could anyone give me pointers

CIPN and losing all feelings day 4 after first chemo
Just read that
whey
protein
helps. Wondered if anyone has experience of this before hubby hits the shops. I think that if it wasn't for the nerve thing then I would be fine. Worried it won't go. Kryssy

New Doctors more tests
Well my absolutely perfect GP has apparently freaked out on me and is now sending me to a Rhuemetologist and Cardiac doctor. I was told by Rhuemetologist it would be 6-8 weeks but apparently my GP has put in a second referral request and I have appt in 3 weeks. This last week I saw the cardiologist

Help with blood results
Hi All I'm a relative newbie here ! Finally after 18 months of trying to get a blood test print out from GP I had private blood tests done. I've no idea what they mean though !! Vitamin B12, Vitiamin D and Folate could'nt be done because of insufficient blood sample so I'm having those redone. Ferritin

What next? Test results are normal....
Hi all, after many months of lurking, have finally signed up as I'm at my wits end as to what to do. Yet another blood tests results
Hi guys, after my concerns with previous blood results (from endo), I went to see my new GP and asked if any of it can be addressed. Initially I found her to be more perceptive than any other doctor before. After showing her my results and describing my symptoms she ordered her own blood tests altogether

Serum globulin
I have been researching serum globulin level. Mine is 37 range 21-35. It mentions high globulin as indicater to heart disease. Doctor hasn't mentioned it. Should I point this out to him?
