Antibody to transcobalamin ii causing functional B12 deficiency?
At the time of diagnosis, I had extreme fatigue (could only talk for short periods at a time, couldn’t read at all), brain fog/memory decline, neuropathy and
weight
loss
. I was given six B12 injections over two weeks and began improving almost immediately.

Helpful hints?
I am drawn to keto and intermittent fasting, but will read anything that pertains to
weight
loss
. I hear a lot about ACV and have seen a few interesting drink recipes. Any recommendations?

It's impossible to know if the MJ is helping the kidney function or if the ~30 pound
weight
loss
is the reason. A research intern popped in next. She's helping a Dr. who is doing a study on web based communication and education materials about choosing to accept a kidney.

Clear liver on ultrasound but GGT and other markers rising.
I have NO symptoms of elevated liver enzymes: stomach pain/dark pee/fatigue/itching/jaundice/light coloured poo/
loss
of appetite/nausea, and vomiting.
Weight
has stayed the same, bar the
loss
of 4-5 pounds since no alcohol. I've also noticed liking sugary things a bit more since stopping drinking.

Good Afternoon, joined the drink free community today- aim to minimise my alcohol intake radically to support my weight loss journey.
Stocked up on Nozeco and nice alcohol free beverages in the fridge. Love Prosecco, but when a bottle appears I can’t seem to stick to only having one glass!!! My husband has had some health problems recently so want to support his recovery. And as it’s Lent im also giving up chocolate and coffee

To those who responded to my post - please read (anyone else welcome - advice desperately needed as I am struggling)
It now has a physical effect breathing problems, palpitations,
weight
loss
, trembling. PDA is something I am absolutely convinced could be central to my problems, though. If something or someone can help me explain what my doctor wants, how do I do a day to day diary in this condition??

My main current hypo symptoms are extreme fatigue, muscle aches and weakness, hair
loss
,
weight
gain etc. I actually feel no better from the increase but not worse. My question is do I need to wait 6 weeks after bloods to up another 1/4 grain or could I try and attempt it in a week or so?

Thyroid Problem journey and arm implant
For almost 5 months I was still okay, fluctuating
weight
loss
and gain, insomia, too much headache every now and then, depression and anxiety which can be post partum side effect?. But then, for the past 6 months, I have been struggling with my weight gain.

Diagnosed with cirrhosis
I quit drinking over 10 years ago, I've had
weight
loss
surgery and lost over 5 stone which as reduced my fatty liver to practically zero. I don't have hepatitis or autoimmune liver disease, yet I still have cirrhosis. I'm only 41. I'm feeling really lost and low.

weight loss/gain
like you I lost weight after a couple of months on Acalabrutinib then got back to my normal weight after 6 months. 14 months in I’m still at my normal weight. I’ve never had tea or coffee and have always drunk loads of water. Neck, groin, armpits, abdomen and groin lumps disappeared after 4 months.

Medication confusion
These were tried at different ages but most caused more anger, not enough sleep, losing
weight
and
loss
of almost all short term working memory. We have not found what will work for adhd and have not tried any anxiety medication yet.

Getting a diagnosis
I became very ill about 3 years ago with a typical list of symptoms along with extreme
weight
loss
and loss of muscle mass. I was anaemic then and also had very low serum ferritin.

Cancer Diet Studies
If we could grade diet "difficulty to develop", on a scale of 1-100,
weight
loss
would be a 30; heart health a 50; type 2 diabetes a 60; and prostate cancer a 90, other cancers at 95+. Prostate cancer with a Gleason 3 is likely doable, Gleason 4 maybe doable and Gleason 5 likely not doable.

Need advice on these blood test results - wondering if it might be hypo, but Dr's all say numbers are fine.
Feeling unwell for over 2 years - fatigue/tiredness,
weight
gain, hair
loss
(decreased hair density on scalp), loss of outer third of eyebrow hair, low libido, low mood, feeling cold - those are the main symptoms. GPs and Endocrinologist all say thyroid is fine and all numbers within range.
