Tibilone experiences
Hi. I have very severe endometriosis and adenomyosis and am awaiting surgery which will likely involve having a stoma. I’ve previously had left ovary removed and both tubes and I’ve recently been told my right ovary is failing. Unfortunately there was been little improvement to my Endometriosis even

Update on...Buprenorphine seems to be failing! Help!
Well, thank you for all the replies and the wisdom which has been offered. I saw my GP yesterday and explained the situation, told him of the solutions others had found (Lotte) and then asked him what his advice was. He thought about it and offered taking Sifrol as a first solution which I told him I'd

Hi, I went to the hospital for my first gynaecology appointment on tuesday where i was told they were certain it’s Endometriosis. As you can imagine it was a mix bag of sadness but relief i didn’t fight with the doctors for the previous year for nothing. They recommended surgery which i’ve agreed

Ups & downs again, but back on the up.
Hi everyone, been on that rollercoaster again. Son unfortunately vomited through his tracheotomy last Tuesday whilst his PEG feed was running. He seemed ok but come Thursday all his stats were alarmingly high requiring hospital admission. Diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia & started on strong IV antibiotics

diverticulitis incontinence
Diverticulitis hot of nowhere. I fell down the stairs, was life flighted to UH main Campus, and had multiple Harkin’s procedures. Gutted thrice, like a catfish. I’ll be with ostomy for rest of my life. It’s been 40 days. Weak as a kitten I’m just in to rehab but still draining. They equipped me

A better appointment today!
After months of visiting the doctors surgery and having small levo increases with no change in my symptoms i have finally seen a sympathetic and intrigued doctor. He was reading my notes whilst i was explaining my symptoms and that 50mcg levo isn't cutting it, he stopped me in my tracks and said "no

Return of the Duck. The Saga Continues.......
Good morning guys and gals.Hope everyone is as well as they can be. Well, here's the promised update from a couple of years ago but to be fair, nothing much had happened on the heart surgery front, I'd been in nsr and I have still been contributing replies. Settle down with a strong drink of choice,

Nice different GP!
I thought I would tell you about a GP I saw on Saturday (yes, Saturday!). I rang surgery on Friday regarding a sore throat of over 4 weeks. They had no appointments but could refer me to a different surgery which could see me on Saturday afternoon. The doctor there asked me questions about my health
