Self sabotage
Some of that will be
water
retention
but some won’t. As I crammed another ginger nut into my mouth last night, I was thinking “you need to stop, you don’t even like ginger nuts” but it was like being an automaton. I couldn’t stop. Any ideas other stress eaters have found useful?

Tapering Steroids
I have felt really odd on these steroids not myself at all , brain fog,
water
retention
, low mood and just bluhhhh but they have helped me to move. Today I have felt even odder after the taper very sluggish and lethargic , could this be down to the tapering?

Weight loss with PCOS & underactive thyroid
Over the last year she has lost a few pounds and done really well, sometimes it comes back which is likely

. This really gets her down and I want to help her but have no idea how. I want to add this is not anything that concerns me, to me she's actually perfectly fine.

Flare up, abdominal swelling!
I am wondering is this is part of the inflammation /
water
retention
etc. It is rather worrying. Does it happen to anyone else. I had upon Consultant's advice reduced Hydroxy to 300mg (weight related) but now she has asked me to go back to 400mg for 6 weeks to see if flare goes.

Father has had PBC for 16 years - Odd complications since COVID?
The drs have suspected
water
retention
as he's having trouble peeing more then 4 - 5 times every 24 hours and has had a few water infections. He also has issues with bowel movement, however the DRs have said this is most probably side effects from the sheer amount of pain meds hes on.

Covid sent me from managed hypo to hyper…
Puffy face, and severe
water
retention
. Terrible fatigue. Up until that point my sleep had been great for a year and my PMS was non existent. TSH suppressed, T4 low and T3 sky high — so my meds have been lowered to 40mcg T3, 25mcg levo and 6mg LDN.

What to do?
My weight is increasing slowly too which I am putting down to a culmination of both
water
retention
and constipation. I also take Edoxaban 60mg daily. The increase in weight and constipation are a nuisance but I am unsure whether I need to see my GP or put up with the situation.

Declining GFR with no cause found--Mystery Needs ideas
Symptom-wise, I feel as good as ever—none of the issues like
water
retention
, fatigue, or shortness of breath. I'm a 72-year-old male, so right now, what I'm left with is my kidneys are just old and tired! My diet is pretty clean. No red meat. Lots of veggies.

Help interpreting results: Told TSH levels normal when they're higher than the normal range
This month I saw my GP as I have developed really bad
water
retention
in my legs & arms & feel absolutely dreadful. He sent me for some thorough bloods, I was told over the phone they were all normal but they've been put on the app and they don't look normal to me.
