Update on post re Flare or Muscle Pain
I followed the advice for dealing with a flare, ended up having to go back up to 16 Mg (I had got to 10mg, but adding just 1mg to the level before the flare didn't help). Eventually after a week the pain and stiffness improved so after 2weeks I dropped by 2mg for a week. then another 2 mg for a week.

Voltarol (diclofenac): is this NSAID okay for people with ITP?
Does anyone know whether it's okay for people with ITP to use voltarol (diclofenac gel) as a topical application? It's an NSAID, which we're told to avoid because of the effect on platelets, but is enough absorbed through the skin to affect platelet levels?

So here I am waiting for the results of an XRay on my knee and clutching at straws and doobies to not feel overwhelmed by the freaking pain I'm in. My beloved Voltarol is doing nothing much. Anyway, Blue Horizon has just sent me this promo email for a microbiome test, which then results in a 35-page

Carvedilol and feet pain
Has anyone experienced nocturnal pain in the feet while taking Carvedilol? I’ve been taking it 2x day for 9 months and had only weight gain. Now the foot pain is disturbing my sleep and only Voltaren helps. Anyone have any similar side effects and what did you do to relieve the pain?

Thank you all! Plus update
Firstly thank you to everyone who replied to my desperate cry for help last week. I'm truly grateful and you a helped me get through the weekend! I had a blood test yesterday and the Rheumy nurse just rang me. One indicator is up so they have doubled my Leflunomide to 20mg a day. The other indicator

Pregnancy pain relief
Wondering if anyone has any tips for pain relief while pregnant? I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant and today I've really struggled with pain across my entire back, to the point I've laid in bed sobbing tonight. My usual go to would be deep heat/voltarol/ibuprofen gel but none are able to be used during

Chronic pain all over body
Since my last post I seem to have managed to regulate my body temperature a bit better I still get the odd day where I'm walking around in shorts and tshirt and yes it's been -1°c here the past few days but I'm getting there the only problem I'm having at the moment is chronic pain especially in my legs

Good morning all. On Wednesday I turned in my seat and felt something go and since then I’ve had a soreness in my side that is very tender to touch and incredibly painful when I turn, particularly in bed. I’ve been on prednisolone for 4 years now for PMR and GCA and I’m currently on 5.5 mg so I’m wondering

Is anyone using Voltaren?
My doctor recommended Voltaren following a recent knee sprain. He said it wouldn't interfere with my Xarelto since it's applied topically. I'm still a bit hesitant to try it. Anyone here using it?

Different symptoms on reducing
I have had PMR for nearly seven years and have been on prednisolone for six and a half. I seem to be beyond adrenal problems as fatigue symptoms which have been an issue since 8mg are now barely there at 2.5mg. BUT my elbows and thumbs are really quite painful. Paracetamol and voltarol gel do not help

Stomach and right rib pain?
Hi everyone! I'm pretty new here. This is only my second post. My liver enzymes spiked about 4 years ago, AST 80 and ALT 120 for about 2 months and then went back to normal. Doctors thought due to stress and maybe the Voltaren I was on for hip inflammation. Since then, I have had all sorts of tests

Opinions on Hemp creams.
Hello everyone, I've recently decided to purchase some compression gloves for my hands and this cream called Hemp Active cream by 5kind popped up on my screen. It has a lot of good reviews but they also have a stronger version. I'm posting this because I've used Voltarol in the past and it doesn't really

Help with Neuralgia
Trigeminal Neuralgia - so many suffer from this affliction that I simply have to share.
