September Challenge - Walk and Forage
It’s packed with antioxidants,
vitamins
C, A and K. Studies in rats suggest they help balance and coordination. Foraging has distinct seasons for specific plants. She writes: - In April she collects dandelion leaves and nettle tops. - May and June brings wild garlic and elderflowers.

can anyone recommend lovely thyroid specialist bucks/hearts/London area/zoom
I also want to know why I don’t absorb
vitamins
from diet or supplements properly. I’m looking for someone who understands central hypothyroid issues too. Can anyone recommend someone? I’m desperate.

Blood tests & upcoming endo appt advice
As normal the endo didnt test FT3 or any
vitamins
16th June23: TSH 0.23 (0.27-4.2) FT4 22.3 (10.8-25.5) My endo appt later this week - I am hoping he will offer me a trial of T3. Last time I spoke to him was in March after I had a dose increase in December from 100/125 to 125 daily.

gut health and absorption issues
I’m aware from previous posts that hypothyroidism is associated with poor gut health ie gluten/coeliac issues, malabsorption of minerals and
vitamins
. Is that the case for all causes/types of hypothyroidism and if so might you be able to explain the how and why.

Help with Iron test results please
My other
vitamins
are fine. I take 100 t4 and 15 t3. I don't have results from this dose yet. Should I look to supplement iron before ferritin gets even lower? Thanks as always for all your advice.

Supplements or vitamins that work against Zytiga
Are there any supplements, medications or
vitamins
that work against Zytiga? Or remove Zytiga from the body making it ineffective? My dad was prescribed Zytiga and has been taking it for 2 months; however, it did nothing to bring down his psa.

Multivitamins when it’s impractical/not possible to take several a day
permission to try some supplements but knowing that several a day isn’t practical and in any case would probably not get granted permission, if there’s a good quality multivit out there with as few excipients as possible, does anyone know of it or perhaps one that does at least contain mineral and
vitamins

Let me know if you experienced a similar progression or if you have experienced relief from inflammation by using natural
vitamins
/herbs. I started taking black seed nigella stevia. Thank you.

Endo supplements
Hi all, Just wondered if anyone take any supplements/
vitamins
or something that they find helps keep their periods regular. I was on the combined pill for 8 years and decided to come off it as I wanted my body back.
