I was taking nutrients and
vitamins
to fight the cancer which was working great until I had kidney stone surgery. Psa shot up to 101 which is when I stopped my self medication and then started the casadex which then brought my PSA down to 3.

Ramblings of an old Parky , Vitamins and finding a professional methodology
I have read so much information on this theme that I should know the subject, but I do not , and the more I read the more I appreciate those professionals that study and research it . My general understanding is that in the past a diet resulting from a complete lack of a particular vitamin would cause

Reducing miscarriage risk
so far, here is what I gathered: 1- there is not much you can control 2- anti spasmodic meds are good esp. after a reduction in embryos to avoid contractions 3- no vigorous anything, from exercise to chores 4- low stress, healthy eating, prenatal
vitamins
, rest, some walking to keep blood

Osteoporosis
I have been taking
vitamins
, but clearly they are not doing the job. I have no risk factors for osteoporosis—only lupus. Oh yes, and apparently taking hydroxy can increase your risk for osteoporosis. Feeling very down today, I was crying all day at work, and now I feel worn out and depressed.

On 75micrgrms levo but TSH score gone from a normal fluctuating from 2-3 to 8.57 suddenly
All
vitamins
were good apart from b12 and ferritin were on the low side of normal. (I am prescribed ferrous fumerate and I take other vitimins but I’ve had a break recently so maybe it’s down to that?) I am now very confused as to how my TSH has suddenly jumped up like that.

Just Diagnosed Kidney Disease Stage 2
Dr just asked me if I took a lot of Ibuprofen -which I don't and what
vitamins
I take - which he said were not a problem. I didn't ask a lot of questions as I was unprepared for this. No advice given really except to drink lots of water and don't take ibuprofen.

Alternative therapy recommendations
I've always preferred to get my
vitamins
from food rather than pills. I've been a bit more erratic with the folic acid and vitamin D the doc suggested, as I eat plenty of green veg and I've been out in the sun more. What alternative things have you found that help?

Latest blood test, what to do next…
I was surprised to see such an improvement in my results: FT4, FT3 and my
vitamins
apart from ferritin which has gone down. The problem I’ve got is I feel so tired and weak. My dizziness is still present.

Annual transplant program appointment
The calories in the chewy
vitamins
are too high and are bad for teeth. Anyway, since I'm requesting to go inactive, the dietician suggested to nurse Patty that we just skip my appointment. My husband almost laughed aloud when I quickly said "sure."
